  The Transitions Center's goal is to provide quality services that will assist women gain personal and economic self-sufficiency and reach their full potential through education, training, job readiness, community referrals, and supportive services. Some of the support services the Transitions Center for Women offers include:
  • A Free 54-hour Computer Training Program
  • Comprehensive Career Counseling that includes Career Interest, Values, & Motivation Testing
  • Job Search Workshops includes:
    • Resume Writing and Cover Letters
    • Interviewing Skills
    • Networking
    • Internet & Traditional Job Search Resources
  • Referrals for training grants, financial aid and scholarships
  • Professionally Facilitator Support Group
A wide variety of empowering workshops are offered that are relative to issues women confront while becoming self-sufficient. The goals of the workshops offered are growth, confidence, and increased feelings of self-worth. Topics Include:
  • Self-Esteem, Self-Respect
  • Time Management
  • Family Law
  • Budgeting
  • Women's Health
